About the role
Work with VAIF TECH clients and developers to make digital products easier to understand and use. You will translate a project brief into user flows, wireframes, and polished designs, then review the finished implementation so the details survive the handoff.
What you will do
- Turn client requirements into user flows and practical design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and responsive interface designs.
- Design accessible forms, navigation, and clear loading and error states.
- Prepare reusable components and clear specifications for developers.
- Review implemented screens and incorporate client feedback.
What you bring
- A portfolio showing web or mobile interface design and the thinking behind it.
- Comfort with Figma or a comparable design and prototyping tool.
- Working knowledge of accessibility and responsive layouts.
- Ability to present decisions clearly and work within project scope.
Nice to have
- Experience designing business dashboards or client portals.
- Comfort with usability testing and reviewing browser implementations.
